
Suburban Imaging Welcomes Four New Radiologists
Suburban Imaging is pleased to welcome four new radiologists to our practice.
Andrew T. Babcock, MD
Dr. Babcock is from St. Cloud, MN, and specializes in body and oncology imaging. He completed his medical training at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, with a fellowship in Cross-Sectional Imaging at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
"My favorite part of being a radiologist is collaborating with other physicians to problem solve and aid in the care of patients," he said.
Eric J. Hartman, MD
Dr. Hartman specializes in neuroradiology. He completed his undergraduate education and medical training at the University of Illinois. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
"My favorite part of radiology is consulting with other physicians to integrate imaging findings with clinical information. I feel privileged to use imaging technology to impact patient care," he said.
Kushal R. Parikh, MD, MBA
Dr. Parikh specializes in body and oncology imaging. He completed his undergraduate and graduate education concurrently at the University of Notre Dame. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois; he completed his diagnostic radiology residency and abdominal imaging fellowship at the University of Michigan.
"What drew me to radiology was the undercurrent of constant innovation and the ability to impact care of a large portion of patient population at any given time," he said.
Mark A. Welnick, MD
Dr. Welnick specializes in interventional radiology, an area of radiology that focuses on minimally-invasive, non-surgical procedures. Dr. Welnick completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA, and his interventional radiology fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
In his spare time, Dr. Welnick enjoys biking, anything on the water, and getting outside with his wife and kids.
