Five Midwest Radiology radiologists have been named to Minnesota Monthly's 2026 Top Doctors list.

The list is built by physicians nominate physicians. Doctors across the metro are asked which colleagues they would recommend for care, and the names that come up most often make the list. No applications, no submissions.

Meet the honorees

Ashley C. Anderson, MD — Molecular/Nuclear Radiology
Dr. Anderson works in molecular and nuclear imaging, including the PET/CT studies that guide cancer staging and treatment response.

Maarten Galantowicz, MD — Body Radiology & Breast Radiology
Dr. Galantowicz reads across abdominal and pelvic imaging as well as breast imaging, including screening and diagnostic mammography.

Kyle Grassel, MD — Musculoskeletal Radiology
Dr. Grassel focuses on musculoskeletal imaging, including sports and orthopedic studies that inform surgical and rehabilitation decisions.

David M. Miller, MD, MS — Body Radiology & Emergency Radiology
Dr. Miller splits his work between scheduled abdominal imaging and emergency reads, where turnaround and clarity change what happens next.

John Millet, MD — Body Radiology
Dr. Millet reads comprehensive abdominal and pelvic imaging, with an emphasis on reports that give referring clinicians a clear next step.

Why our peers' opinions are important

Radiology is a consult specialty. Most patients never meet the radiologist who reads their study. The people who see that work closely are the clinicians on the other end of the report — the primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and emergency teams who have to act on it.

That is what makes this particular recognition worth noting. It comes from the physicians who read our reports, call with questions, and make decisions based on what we send back.

About the Minnesota Monthly Top Doctors

Each year, Minnesota Monthly surveys licensed physicians across the 11-county Twin Cities metro and Olmsted County, asking which doctors they would recommend for care. Physicians name colleagues other than themselves, and those receiving the most nominations are recognized by specialty.
