Midwest Radiology congratulates the following physicians for being named 2019 Top Doctors by Minnesota Monthly magazine. The Top Doctors list appears in the magazine’s September issue. The Top Doctors list is compiled after asking more than 10,000 licensed doctors in the 11-county metro area, as well as Olmsted County, to name up to three doctors other than themselves in more than 30 different specialty categories.

Dr. Mark Veldman is part of the Body Imaging team. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School and interned at Hennepin County Medical Center. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Andrew Hartigan is part of the Interventional Radiology team. He attended Medical College of Wisconsin and interned at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at St. Joseph’s and a fellowship in vascular/interventional radiology at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center.

Dr. Meghan McKeon is part of the Breast Radiology team, and Medical Director at Fairview Southdale Breast Center. She attended the University of Minnesota Medical School where she also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology. She completed her fellowship in Breast Imaging at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Michael Madison is President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Radiology, and part of the Interventional Neuroradiology team. Dr. Madison attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology.

“Great radiologists are called to either teach, research, or learn. Their passion is infectious and inspires others to want to be the same,” said Dr. Madison. “These radiologists go a step further, not because they have to, but because they truly enjoy radiology. They go past the interpretation of the image and make it relevant for the clinician on the other end.”
