Midwest Radiology congratulates the following physicians for being named 2022 Top Doctors by Mpls.St.Paul magazine in its July 2022 issue. The list includes more than 800 local top doctors from 46 specialties who have been selected through a process involving extensive research and peer review.

Dr. Ellen L. Abeln is part of our Breast imaging team and a Fellow of the American College of Radiology. Dr. Abeln received her MD from University of Minnesota Medical School. She completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Aaron J. Binstock is part of the Body/Oncology Imaging team. Dr. Binstock attended medical school at University of South Florida and interned in internal medicine at Tampa General Hospital. He completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Alexandra L. Muschenheim is part of the Body Radiology and Breast Radiology teams. She was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2000, after completing a fellowship in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at University of Minnesota Medical School. Dr. Muschenheim has been recognized as a Top Doctor every year since 2015.

Dr. Mark Veldman is part of the Body Imaging team. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School and interned at Hennepin County Medical Center. He was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 2006 after completing a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School and a fellowship in cross-sectional imaging at Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Michael Madison is the former President and Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Radiology, and part of the Neurointerventional Surgery team. Dr. Madison was certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1992. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology. He has been recognized as a Top Doctor and Best Doctor for Women multiple times.
