What should I bring to my appointment?

If your previous imaging was not done at one of our locations, you may be asked to contact your former provider and request that your film be sent to us for a comparison study.

• Your insurance card and a valid photo ID.

How should I prepare for my exam?

• You may be asked to change into a gown before your examination.
• You will be asked to remove jewelry, eyeglasses and any metal objects.

Please let us know if you have any of the following medical conditions:

• Pregnancy – known or possible

How long will my exam take?

Most x-ray exams take less than 15 minutes.

What happens during my exam?

You will be positioned on an exam table. For the best quality images, you will be asked to remain as still as possible during the exam. The technologist may reposition you for another view and the process is repeated.

When your x-rays are completed, you will be asked to wait while the technologist checks the quality of the images.

What happens after my exam?

Your images will be interpreted by one of our board certified radiologists. The findings will be sent to your healthcare provider.
