Why I Became a Radiologist

I was diagnosed with an anterior mediastinal mass in 2016, and during that time interventional radiology, diagnostic radiology, the on call hospital and nursing team came together to diagnose and treat me after hours during a holiday weekend. I was treated and cured during the fall/winter of 2016, and the same compassion and patience that I experienced from my care team during that time gave me an introduction to radiology and further honed my interest in body/nuclear medicine ever since. I strive every day to have the same impact on my own patients drawing from my personal cancer experience, and I am lucky to work with such a great team here at Midwest Radiology.
