Why I Became a Radiologist
I was drawn to radiology because it covered just about every aspect of medicine, from oncology to orthopedics, from prenatal through end-of-life. Now that I specialize in breast imaging, I have the ability to be involved with disease prevention (screening mammograms), but also to see patients and perform procedures, and to work closely with surgeons and oncologists to best manage our shared patients.
